Court Blocks Wolf’s Plans on Carbon Pricing

A Pennsylvania court on Tuesday blocked Gov. Tom Wolf’s plan to make Pennsylvania the first major fossil fuel state to adopt a carbon pricing policy. The court sided with leaders of the Republican-controlled Legislature, who just a day earlier had failed in their final legislative attempt to block the regulation.

Coronavirus Cases Falling Dramatically Statewide & in Monroe County

Pennsylvania reported far fewer coronavirus cases in the week ending Sunday… cases were down almost 11% from the previous week’s tally.Monroe County reported 60 cases and zero deaths in the latest week. A week earlier, it had reported 69 cases and one death. Across Pennsylvania, cases fell in 43 counties.
