An overturned tractor-trailer that leaked chemicals Monday morning in Monroe County after a crash at the intersection of Middle Road and Route 191 near Stroudsburg. Some of the responding firefighters had to be decontaminated and were sent to the hospital to be monitored.

According to a last minute Emerson College poll, State Senator Doug Mastriano on Monday, had a double-digit lead and that was increasing too, over former Congressman Lou Barletta in the Republican primary race for Governor. The poll found a majority of undecided voters also leaned toward voting for Mastriano.
