In the Republican race for U.S. Representative in the 8th District, Jim Bognet (BOWG-net) won by almost double… with 66% of the vote, beating Mike Marsicano, who gathered 34%.

Lt Governor John Fetterman won the Democratic Pennsylvania Primary and will be that party’s nominee to face a Republican challenger for the state’s open US Senate seat in November. His win comes just days after suffering a stroke. Fetterman remains hospitalized.

Doug Mastriano won the Republican nomination for Pennsylvania governor on Tuesday, beating eight other candidates… Mastriano had the endorsement of former President Donald Trump, and will now go on to face Democrat Josh Shapiro in the November election.

A man accused of kidnapping and robbing at gunpoint, a female ride-share driver last month at Mount Airy Casino is now behind bars. 29 year old Brandon Pearsall-McNeally was caught in York County.

UGI customers will see an increase in their monthly gas bill, then another one this winter. The utility said its rates will go up on Wednesday, June 1st by about 7%. Another rate hike of about 5% is planned… pending approval by the PUC… for December 1st.
