Fentanyl has overtaken heroin as the opioid of choice in Pennsylvania. The state has seized more than forty times the amount of fentanyl than heroin in the first three months of this year… an amount that already far surpasses last year’s entire fentanyl seizures.

A reminder today from the Pennsylvania Game Commission… Don’t touch young wildlife. Experts say while young animals are often left alone, it does not mean they’ve been abandoned. Human interference is most likely a death sentence to young wildlife. If you unsure, you can contact the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation & Education Center in Stroudsburg.

It was revealed Tuesday morning, that M&M’s will be the title sponsor for July’s NASCAR Cup Series Race at Pocono Raceway.. marking the final season that Mars Candy Company… the parent company of M&M’s will be sponsoring NASCAR. The M&M’s Fan Appreciation 400 Cup Series race will take place July 24th.

David McCormick as filed a lawsuit aimed at closing the gap in Pennsylvania’s neck and neck GOP Primary race for the US Senate seat between himself and Dr. Mehmet Oz. Oz was still leading McCormick by a slight margin as of mid-day Tuesday.

A bill that would ban transgenders in Pennsylvania from playing on girls’ sports teams has moved closer to a final vote in the state Senate, after advancing out of the Senate Education Committee on Tuesday. But Governor Tom Wolf has already said he would veto it.
