Miss PA Competition Underway

The Miss Pennsylvania 2022 competition is underway this week, and it includes 24 candidates who were recognized Monday by state lawmakers. They’re competing for the crown and scholarships worth thousands of dollars. The winner will go on to represent Pennsylvania at the 101st Miss America competition in December in Connecticut.

Pike County Commissioners have named a new Director of Veterans Affairs. Jesiah Schrader… a northeastern Pennsylvania native… served eight years in the United States Army active duty. He previously served for seven years as Deputy Director of Veterans Affairs in Monroe County.

Police Searching for Trailer Stolen in Stroudsburg

A truck took off with a trailer from the parking lot of the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Stroudsburg on Sunday, and now police want to find the driver. Police say a white truck stole the restaurant’s 26-foot trailer, containing much of their extra dry storage products. The restaurant is offering a reward.
