The Pennsylvania Game Commission is offering tours of Pennsylvania Game Lands next month. There will be free tours offered on three Sundays in October at various locations across the commonwealth. Tours are rain or shine and open only to vehicles licensed for travel on public roads.

No More Plastic Bags

A major Northeastern Pennsylvania grocery chain is no longer offering plastic bags. Shoppers at Wegmans can now purchase reusable bags for 99 cents, or paper bags for a nickel each. Wegmans will be donating the money from paper bag sales to a local charity.
