Monroe Healthcare Worker Accused of Assault

A healthcare employee is accused of assaulting a patient in Monroe County. State Police say it happened at Brookmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Chesnuthill Township where a 58-year-old patient was hit multiple times. No names have been released yet, but police say charges are pending.

Turnpike Closure Planned – 65 Mile Detour

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will be closing more than 37 miles of Route 476… the Northeast Extension… from Exit 95 to Exit 56, from Friday, October 14 until Monday, October 17 for a bridge replacement project in Lehigh County. It will mean a nearly 65 mile detour.
