The recent turn to colder weather has ski resorts here in the Poconos getting ready for what they hope will be a successful season. Seven new ski lifts are waiting to be put to use at some Pocono Mountain Resorts, including Camelback Mountain, Blue Mountain Resort, and Big Boulder. Resorts have also upped their snowmaking capability, with new snow guns, snow-making pumps, and fan guns that replace the old pipes. For opening days, check their websites.
