State Lawmakers Getting Hefty Pay Raises

Pennsylvania lawmakers are doing pretty well financially. As of December 1st, lawmakers in the Keystone State will get a 7.8% pay increase… the largest increase in legislative salaries in more than a quarter of a century. The raise means rank-and-file members will get $8,570 each month, bringing their annual earnings to $102,844. Similar raises take effect on January 1st for top officials in the executive branch and judges.
