According to a licensed professional planner who testified before the Paradise Township Board of Supervisors, a proposed resort would generate $3.9 Million in tax revenues for the township, the Pocono Mountain School District, the county and the state. The development is being proposed off Route 611 on seven parcels of land, four in Paradise Township, and the others in Pocono Township and in Mount Pocono Borough.
