The investigation remains ongoing after a man was killed last Saturday when his car crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer in Monroe County. State Police say it happened on Interstate 380 when 33 year old Branden Mays of Carbondale, who was traveling behind a tractor-trailer, hit the back of it. Mays was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was taken to St. Luke’s Monroe Campus to be treated for minor injuries. The crash shut down I-380 for about two and a half hours.
