Lots of people are hitting the road this week, and as we take a look at gas prices locally, we find that they fluctuated between $3.13 and $3.24 a gallon in East Stroudsburg as of Christmas Day. Meanwhile, the national average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas stands at $3.12. A week ago the national average price was $3.06 according to AAA. Here in Pennsylvania, the average cost of a gallon of regular is $3.42 according to AAA.
