A man from New York State has pleaded guilty to using counterfeit bills in Monroe County. 36 year old Ahmed Brima of Staten Island, admitted that back in May of last year, he passed or attempted to pass about $3,800 worth of counterfeit $100 bills at the CVS Pharmacy in East Stroudsburg, the Rite Aid in Stroudsburg, the Rite Aid in East Stroudsburg, the Walgreens in Stroud Township, and the Dollar General in East Stroudsburg. When sentenced, he could be looking at 20 years in prison for each count.
