In a unanimous decision, the East Stroudsburg school board has approved a six-year contract with the East Stroudsburg Education Association. The contract, which covers teachers and other positions, includes significant pay raises. A teacher on the first step of the pay scale will see their salary increase from $52,985 to $73,385 by 2029. The contract is expected to add nearly $26 million over six years to the budget.
