In Pocono Township, local resident Matt Long has announced his candidacy for the state House seat in the 115th district. A graduate of East Stroudsburg’s Notre Dame High School and Washington & Jefferson College, Long is running as a Republican. His campaign priorities include lowering inflation, improving education, reforming property tax, raising the minimum wage, incentivizing affordable housing, and protecting fundamental rights.
