Thousands of residents in Northeastern Pennsylvania were left without power due to severe weather conditions. As of 10:45 last night, PPL reported over 16,000 customers were affected, with nearly 4,000 of them in Monroe County. Meanwhile, West Penn Power indicates that approximately 5,000 customers are experiencing outages, with around 3,700 of those in Northampton County. Restoration efforts are underway, but power isn’t expected to be fully restored before 11 tonight.
