Tobyhanna Township supervisors met on Monday, and approved… by a 3 to 0 vote… a change to the zoning ordinance which will allow so-called “boutique” resorts in areas zoned as Open Space on tracts of at least 100 acres… with some limitations. It means conference centers, restaurants, bars, retail and gift shops, spa and indoor and outdoor recreational facilities and event venues such as barns, stables, helipads and maintenance buildings could be built.
