It’s now official… The National Weather Service says it was an EF1 tornado with winds up to 90 mph that tore through Mahanoy City in Schuylkill County. The twister covered 1.5 miles with a width of 75 yards, causing damage to roofs and windows, including at a local elementary school. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or fatalities.
