DUI Checkpoints This Weekend

Pennsylvania State Police will be conducting DUI checkpoints and roving patrols from today through Sunday across the state. The efforts are part of a “zero-tolerance enforcement policy” aimed at reducing drinking and driving. Checkpoints will be set up in Pike and Monroe Counties and other areas with high DUI rates. Drivers are reminded to avoid driving under the influence, as penalties can include fines up to $5,000 and prison time.
