Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport was evacuated Saturday morning after receiving a bomb threat just before 11:30. The Joseph M. McDade Terminal Building and other facilities were cleared as a precaution. The threat was later deemed unfounded. Emergency and federal personnel, including the TSA, are investigating the incident. No details have yet been released about the threat’s origin.
