Volunteers in Monroe County dedicated their morning Thursday, to addressing homelessness and addiction as part of “Save a Life” day in the Poconos. Teaming up with Carbon Monroe Pike Drug and Alcohol, advocates spread awareness about recovery resources and handed out free Narcan boxes outside the district attorney’s office in Stroudsburg. The initiative also reached out to students at East Stroudsburg University to ensure Narcan is accessible to everyone.
