The Diocese of Scranton has dismissed Father Martin M. Boylan after he was found guilty under canon law of sexually assaulting two minors. Boylan, who served in Stroudsburg and Honesdale, is permanently barred from priestly ministry. Boylan, ordained in 1980, faces no criminal charges in Pennsylvania courts.
