First Winter Storm Of The Season Hits NEPA

Much of Pennsylvania is feeling the first blast of winter this season, as a Winter Storm Warning is in effect for much of the state, including Carbon and Monroe Counties until 4pm today, with heavy/wet snow expected. The National Weather Service forecasts 4 to 8 inches of snow, with higher amounts at elevations above 1,500 feet. Winds could gust up to 35 mph, increasing the risk of power outages. Hazardous travel conditions exist.
