Authorities in western Pennsylvania are investigating the disappearance of a 64-year-old woman who went missing while searching for her cat on Monday evening. Police found Elizabeth Pollard’s car with her granddaughter inside near a sinkhole that opened in Marguerite, about 40 miles east of Pittsburgh. A shoe was spotted 30 feet below the surface, raising concerns Pollard may have fallen into the hole.
