As avian influenza continues to spread across eastern Pennsylvania, the Game Commission has intensified efforts to curb its impact. On Monday and Tuesday, crews shot and collected hundreds of sick snow geese after the virus has killed large numbers of them. Although depopulation efforts have ended, the public is now urged to report sightings of sick or dead birds to help monitor the outbreak.
