A Carbon County man is recovering after being attacked by a black bear while walking back to his home in Jim Thorpe from the store on Sunday. The bear tackled the man before his neighbor shot and killed the animal to save his life. Fortunately, the man suffered only minor injuries. He credits his neighbor for saving his life.
