Democratic lawmakers in Pennsylvania attempted on Wednesday, to ban owning, selling or making high-capacity, semi-automatic firearms in the commonwealth, but the move went nowhere yesterday, as state House Republicans again stood firm in their opposition to gun restriction proposals, voting 111-87 against the effort.
