Geisinger Health is enhancing safety with a new private police officer program. Thirteen officers, equipped with firearms and non-lethal options, will begin patrolling Geisinger facilities soon. This move follows increased violence at healthcare sites and includes additional security upgrades like AI-powered cameras and K-9 units.
