Stroudsburg Lunch Monitor Faces Firing Over Mouth-taping Incident

A lunch monitor at Hamilton Elementary in Stroudsburg could lose her job after allegedly placing painter’s tape over students’ mouths. The school board issued a notice of termination to Dorothy Lanza, accusing her of past neglect and abusive behavior. The district says the incident was not isolated and cited years of concerning evaluations. Lanza claimed it was a joke. She has 10 days to appeal.
