State Police are searching for a Stroudsburg man who they say fled from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. 29-year-old Richard Shafer has an active felony warrant out for his arrest. Shafer fled on foot as he was being taken into custody. Now he faces additional charges. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and blank pants. Anyone with information should call the state police.
