On Tuesday, the Animal Legal Defense Fund filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Agriculture against a Wayne County animal park over alleged violations of the Animal Welfare Act. The Animal Defense Fund is now calling for the USDA to decline to reissue the license for Claws ‘N’ Paws Animal Park in Lake Ariel , which expires this month. According to some other media reports, Claws ‘N’ Paws said they were unaware of the allegations.
