Avian Flu Cases Ramping Up Statewide

Amid rising prices for just about everything you buy these days, get set to pay even more for eggs and poultry, after the USDA now says 3 more Pennsylvania flocks have tested positive for avian flu. An egg laying flock of more than 72,000 chickens in Lancaster County had to be destroyed, and nearly 24,000 more birds were euthanized in Berks County. To date, more than 4 million birds have been affected.
