A Monroe County post office was hit by a car Thursday morning. It happened at the Post Office in Delaware Water Gap on Shepard Avenue. Police say the female driver of the car suffered a medical issue causing her to lose control. She was taken to the hospital to be checked out. She wasn’t hurt, and nobody inside the post office was hurt either. The post office however, is closed until repairs can be made.
