Bill To Legalize Adult-Use Cannabis Introduced

Pennsylvania lawmakers have introduced a bill to legalize adult-use cannabis in the state. The legislation aims to regulate cannabis, create Pennsylvania Cannabis Stores, and establish a Cannabis Revenue Fund. The bill would also expunge criminal records for cannabis-related offenses. The House Health Committee is expected to review the bill soon.

Two people from eastern Pennsylvania have been arrested in connection with a New York murder. State police say 22-year-old Sgrollin Santana and 19-year-old Jaslynn Garcia were wanted out of Nassau County. They were taken into custody in Tamaqua and are awaiting extradition.
