With a little more than a month to go before the May 17 primary, Republican gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano holds the lead vying for that party’s nomination. According to recent poll numbers, Mastriano, a state senator from Franklin County, was followed by former federal prosecutor Bill McSwain of Chester County; former congressman Lou Barletta of Luzerne County; and businessman Dave White of Delaware County… in that order. Democratic nominee Josh Shapiro is unopposed for his party’s nomination.
