In Monroe County, a man who orchestrated a violent home invasion back in May 2021 in Smithfield Township that resulted in the death of one of his accomplices at the hand of the victim, has been sentenced. Unique Rainey will spend the next 5.5 to 11.5 years in state prison, followed by a year of probationary supervision.
