2 people are dead in Carbon County in what State Police at Lehighton are calling an apparent murder-suicide. Police say the bodies of 89 year old Josephine Lauchnor and 91 year old Leonard Lauchnor were discovered in their bedroom in Nesquehoning Borough. The coroner’s office says both died as a result of apparent gunshot wounds. Police say Leonard shot his wife, then turned the gun on himself.
