Newer/faster Electric Boat Motors Spur Change in Laws

Some changes in the law may be on the way that would affect boaters in Pennsylvania. The state fish and game commission says due to the new types of watercraft that are powered by electricity, new laws could change the way no-wake rules are enforced on certain water bodies. Some of the new electric motors can now produce up to 180 horsepower and propel a boat up to 60 miles per hour.
