Some good news for Republican candidates in Pennsylvania. According to a new poll by the Atlanta-based Trafalgar Group, U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz now only trails Democratic opponent John Fetterman, the current lieutenant governor, by a small and tightening margin. The poll also showed Democratic Attorney General Josh Shapiro leading Republican Doug Mastriano but also only by a steadily shrinking margin. The two Republicans may get an additional boost from former President Donald Trump who is holding a rally for Oz and Mastriano in Wilkes-Barre on September 3.
