Wildlife experts are now asking Pennsylvania residents who have wrapped lanternfly tape around their trees as a way to catch them, to take the tape down or cover it. They say the are now seeing cases in which many other animals are mistakenly getting attached to it and suffering injuries. They say the tape is no longer serving its purpose.
