UPS plans to cut about 20,000 jobs and shut down 73 buildings this year as it slashes shipments from Amazon, its largest—but low-margin—customer. The move follows a deal to cut Amazon volume by more than half by late 2026. UPS says the cuts will help streamline operations and cut costs.
