In Monroe County, an investigation is now underway after a body was found face down in Brodhead Creek below the Veterans Memorial Bridge in East Stroudsburg. Flames broke out Wednesday at a fuel supplier in East Stroudsburg. The fire was at Tolino’s Fuel Service on King Street, which was shut down so crews could work, and the fire department was asking people to stay away from that area. No word today on a cause and no word of any injuries.

Police say it was a medical emergency that caused a man to crash his vehicle into a parked car on Cranberry Road in Stroud Township. 53 year old Mark Williams of Pocono Township, died after the crash. The coroner is ruling the death a medical episode which in turn caused the crash.
