7 Arrested In Healthcare Fraud Scheme Including 1 From East Stroudsburg

Seven people have been indicted on conspiracy charges for committing health care fraud involving “foot baths.” The scheme involved billing health insurance for unnecessary prescription drug combinations marketed as foot soak treatments. The suspects, including 43 year old Melissa Driscoll of East Stroudsburg, are accused of using pharmacies here in Pennsylvania to process fraudulent orders. The charges carry a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
