With the May 7 deadline for REAL ID fast approaching, PennDOT is extending hours at driver’s license centers across Pennsylvania to assist residents before the federal mandate takes effect, giving Pennsylvanians extra time to get their REAL ID-compliant licenses. Only 26% of the state’s drivers have obtained one so far.
