25 year old Andrew Quattrochi made a court appearance on Monday, facing charges for the shooting death of 17-year-old Garrett Gearhart at a Wawa in Stroudsburg on November 30. During yesterday’s preliminary hearing, evidence revealed that Quattrochi texted his girlfriend, admitting he shot “some kid.” His trial is set to continue in March.

The deadline for Pennsylvania’s Real ID is fast approaching, and residents have just a few months to get their updated driver’s licenses before new federal regulations go into effect. Starting May 7th, only Real ID-compliant IDs will be accepted for boarding commercial flights or entering federal buildings.
