Monroe County has been celebrating its Meals on Wheels volunteers all this week, during Community Champions Week. The non-profit relies on volunteers to deliver meals to 300 clients, with 8-10 new requests each week. Volunteers say the experience offers more than just a meal, providing valuable companionship to those in need.
