A new bill introduced in the Pennsylvania Senate aims to raise the state’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2026. Senate Bill 19 also includes provisions to ensure tipped workers earn at least 70% of the minimum wage and strengthens protections against wage theft. The bill comes as Pennsylvania’s current minimum wage has not changed since 2006.
