Call For Improvements In PennDOT Bridge Inspection Process
State lawmakers are calling for improvements in PennDOT’s bridge inspection process. It comes about after a recent audit revealed that PennDOT is tasked with inspecting about 25,400 state-owned bridges, many over 50 years old.

This past Saturday, 140 hunters were selected for Pennsylvania’s elk hunting licenses. The Pennsylvania Game Commission awarded 65 antlered and 75 antlerless tags for this year’s hunting seasons. Out of nearly 110,000 applicants from all 50 states, local hunters secured the majority of licenses, with winners ranging in age from 16 to 93.
