Man Destroys Monument at Notre Dame High School in East Stroudsburg

Police say a man destroyed a Ten Commandments monument outside Notre Dame High School in East Stroudsburg and then tried to force his way into the building. Officers say the man stayed on school property for about three hours. His name hasn’t been released, but police say they’ve identified him.

Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of Monroe County Man

A Monroe County man has died after crashing his motorcycle into a utility pole in Smithfield Township on Sunday night. State police say 38-year-old Michael Crumpler veered off Hollow Road. He died Tuesday at a hospital in Bethlehem. The coroner has ruled it an accident.
