Pocono Mountain Regional EMS is set to receive over $158,000 in federal funding to enhance emergency response capabilities. The funds, awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, will be used to purchase an automatic chest compression device and two defibrillators. The funding is part of a larger $2 million grant supporting 20 fire departments in northeastern Pennsylvania.
